I am a PhD candidate in Comparative and International Development Education at the University of Minnesota, where my research examines the role of artificial intelligence in education with a particular focus on digital equity and gender equity in emerging AI ecosystems. I previously completed studies in sociology and French at the University of Paris (Paris Cité University), which shaped my comparative perspective on global education systems and sociotechnical change. I currently work as a research assistant with EMERGai, an NSF-funded institute dedicated to expanding methodological innovation in education research through the responsible, equitable, and research-informed use of AI in educational contexts. In 2025, I served as a research intern at UNESCO in Paris, contributing to international initiatives aimed at promoting inclusive and ethical AI in education across diverse national systems. I am an active participant in scholarly communities, including the Comparative and International Education Society (CIES), American Educational Research Association (AERA), and Association for the Study of Higher Education (ASHE), and serve as a reviewer for academic conferences and journals, such as Artificial Intelligence in Education (AIIE). Prior to my doctoral studies, I worked at Tsinghua University in China and held a research assistant position with the Export‑Import Bank of China, gaining field experience in Morocco, Gabon, and West Africa. My academic and professional trajectory reflects a sustained commitment to understanding how education systems respond to technological transformation in the age of AI.
